定冠词the的用法

一、定冠词the的用法

　　1、用在世界上独一无二的事物前。

　　如：Explore the surface of the moon.

　　2、用在序数词、形容词的最高级前。

　　如：This was the first step towards achieving a peace agreement.

　　3、用于上文已经提到过的人或事物。

　　如：He bought a new car.The car was very beautiful.

　　4、用在表示方位、乐器和影剧院的名词前。

　　如：The wind is blowing from the east.

　　5、用在江河、湖泊、海洋、山脉、群岛、沙漠和海湾等的名称前。

　　如：the Yellow River，the Pacific Ocean，the Alps.

二、the是什么意思

　　1、the作为定冠词用的时候意思是：“这；那”，作副词用的时候意思是：“更加（用于比较级，最高级前）”。

　　2、the这个英文单词，在英语对话或者书写英文的时候经常会用到。

　　3、造句：Because only I have the ability.因为只有我才有那能耐。

三、the的用法

　　1、“the是定冠词，表示特指的人或物，和单数名词、形容词或者分词连用，用于表示方位的名词前，用在江河、海洋、湖泊、群岛、山脉的名称前，也可指世界上独一无二的事物等。”

　　2、表示特指的人或物。The boy in red is her brother.穿黑衣服的那个男孩是她哥哥。

　　4、和单数名词、形容词或者分词连用，表示一类人或事物。the tiger老虎 the old老年人 the living生者。

　　5、指世界上独一无二的事物。The sun is shining.阳光普照。

　　6、特指再次出现的人或事物。He told us a story ,but I was not interested in the story。

四、another和the

　　1、the other一般接可数名词和单数。例如：接单数：the other book另外的一本书。接可数名词复数：the other flowers其他的花。接不可数名词：the other water剩下的水。

　　2、another一般要接可数名词的单数。例如：another ten days还有十天。
